Self-Adhesive Vinyl for Signage & Vehicle Branding: A Buyer's Guide
Not all self-adhesive vinyl does the same job. Choosing the wrong type for a window, vehicle, or wall application means a print that bubbles, fades, or doesn't come off cleanly. Here's a quick guide to what each type is actually for.
White Vinyl
The standard for opaque signage and stickers — solid colour backing so printed colours show true. KIG Group's White Vinyl is bubble-free, print-only or print-and-cut.
Clear Vinyl
For window decals and labels where you want the surface behind the print to still be visible around the design. See Clear Vinyl.
Sandblast Vinyl
Gives a frosted, etched-glass look without actually etching the glass — popular for office partition privacy strips and architectural branding. See Sandblast Vinyl.
Contravision
Perforated window vinyl that's visible as a full image from outside but see-through from inside — used for shopfront and vehicle window branding where visibility matters from one side only. See Contravision Premium.
Grey Adhesive
Backing designed for longer-term outdoor applications — available in 1-year and 2-year durability ratings depending on how long the install needs to last. See Grey Adhesive.
Vehicle Magnets
A removable alternative to vinyl for company vehicles — no adhesive residue, swap between vehicles. See Vehicle Magnet.
